Capacity building support
On-the-job Training of Engineers
Capacity building of engineers of our clients through on-the-job trainings is one of priority areas of Energy Advisory. We share our experience to ensure that our consultancy services are successful in the long term cooperation with our Clients. Our training sessions are covering following topics:
- Design of high voltage power plants, substations, transmission lines
- Design of high voltage transmission line towers and foundations (checking methodology, load calculation and analysis, tower member and connection design, foundation design, design drawings, testing procedures etc.)
- Training on OPGW, OPUC, the base conception of optical devices , SCADA system
- Special trainings in regard of Environmental Management Plan and Resettlement Action Plan issues.
Transfer of knowledge
EA Energy Advisory is also responsible for leading knowledge transfer program implementation projects for either professional or technical departments of the energy and water utility companies. As part of these services our company will perform the following:
- Provides orientation and overview of the knowledge transfer program to personnel of energy and water utility companies
- Works with department management team to identify and approve jobs requiring knowledge transfer
- Identifies and interviews candidates to become knowledge transfer specialists
- Conducts training for knowledge transfer specialists
- Sets up and organizes department KT Advisory Committees
- Monitors and evaluates knowledge transfer program performance
- Reports knowledge transfer program progress
