INNOVATIVE ENERGY-EFFICIENT AND ENERGY-SAVING TECHNOLOGIES FOR HOUSEHOLD CONSUMERS

As part of the EU-funded “Technical Assistance for the R2E2 Upgrade” project, aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of the R2E2, "Euronet Consulting EEIG, the lead firm of the ALANet Global consortium" (project implementer), has produced an animated video that clearly and accessibly presents the benefits of using innovative, EE and energy-saving technologies for residential consumers.

The video showcases modern, environmentally friendly solutions that provide heating, cooling, and hot water through a single device — a heat pump. It also highlights solar energy storage batteries, which further enhance the overall energy efficiency of such systems. The aim of the video is to promote the adoption of these technologies, in line with the Republic of Armenia’s national policy to phase out fossil fuels and strengthen the country’s energy security.

TECHNICAL SUPERVISION SERVICES FOR MASRIK-1 PV PLANT

EA Energy Advisory LLC is completing the project for providing technical supervision of the construction of Solar Power Plant Masrik-1, the largest photovoltaic (PV) facility in the Armenia, located near the Metz Masrik and Vardenis in the Gegharkunik region.

The plant plays a crucial role in the country’s renewable energy strategy.

With a peak capacity of 55 MW, construction began in early 2019, and the plant is expected to commence operations in 2025.

Energy Advisory LLC provides daily technical supervision to ensure that construction, installation, and other activities on site meet the highest standards.

The project was developed by Spanish company FRV Masrik CJSC
